>>Hi Tony, Many thanks for the pics of Keswick.  Due to the plague we haven't had our usual fortnight there for  two years now.  The queue for the 555 reminded me of the times we have boarded that bus to ride to Grasmere, Ambleside and so forth.  I am so pleased to see the crowds building up there again, hopefully the shops and restaurants are managing to make some cash to repair the damage done by the lockdowns.  Perhaps next year if my wife's health improves some more we'll be able to visit the Lakes again.  We do so miss the sheer beauty of Derwentwater, the surrounding fells and all the nearby  areas.  Not as spectacular as the Rockies but much more manageable for the over eighties! All the best, Terry McDonald
