Loved the two pics one taken between two tree trunks and especially the one after of the gate and field towards the fells. I have noticed a lot of pink hawthorn this year and have just googled about it. Evidently it turns from white to pink with age. Now past 70 and having lived next to hawthorn all my life I never realised this. Never too old to learn. Cheers John in Furness
